Boosting the Ni?Catalyzed Hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of Anisole Using Scrap Catalytic Converters

چکیده
The large availability and renewable nature of lignin makes its upgrading to bioproducts particular interest for sustainable development. hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) anisole specifically represents a model reaction the conversion biofuels through removal aromatic carbon-oxygen bonds. To date, range Ni-based catalysts have been reported as highly active systems HDO anisole. However, there has substantial lack consideration given environmental characteristics these catalytic systems, in contrast with scope production biofuels. Herein, SiO2 are prepared by solventless efficient mechanochemistry approach, having considerably lower impact compared standard impregnation methods. Importantly, scrap converters (SCATs) employed co-catalysts, proving possibility enhancing anisole, scarcely exploited waste material. results demonstrate that combined use Ni/SiO2 Ni/SCATs co-catalysts remarkably boosts rate up more than 50% achieving an almost complete only 40 min instead at 200 °C 4 MPa H2.

Bifunctional transalkylation and hydrodeoxygenation of anisole over a Pt/HBeta catalyst
The catalytic conversion of anisole (methoxybenzene), a phenolic model compound representing a thermal conversion product of biomass lignin, to gasoline-range molecules has been investigated over a bifunctional Pt/HBeta catalyst at 400 C and atmospheric pressure. The product distribution obtained on the bifunctional catalyst was compared with those obtained on monofunctional catalysts (HBeta an...
متن کاملBifunctional Molybdenum Polyoxometalates for the Combined Hydrodeoxygenation and Alkylation of Lignin-Derived Model Phenolics.
Reductive catalytic fractionation of biomass has recently emerged as a powerful lignin extraction and depolymerization method to produce monomeric aromatic oxygenates in high yields. Here, bifunctional molybdenum-based polyoxometalates supported on titania (POM/TiO2 ) are shown to promote tandem hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) and alkylation reactions, converting lignin-derived oxygenated aromatics in...

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
